First time in the history, the Congress exhibition will in conjunction with the Vancouver International Bird Festival and the 8th Annual Artists For Conservation Festival (AFC) and become the Nature and Bird Expo. The Expo will bring together arts, conservation, leisure, music, technology, and travel together under one roof to celebrate birds. In addition to over 70 exhibitors from various sectors for you to visit, make sure you check out the Expo every day as there will be exciting events scheduled throughout the week.
The Nature & Bird Expo is open to ONLY Congress Delegates on Tuesday, August 21st and Wednesday, August 22nd. As of Thursday, August 23rd, the Expo opens to the Public with admission. Congress Delegates are free to enter the Expo at any time during the week.

NATURE AND BIRD EXPO HIGHLIGHTS
AFC’s annual juried “International Exhibit of Nature in Art” is the world’s top conservation-themed art exhibit and sale.
It’s a rare opportunity for art collectors to buy original artwork by internationally acclaimed artists and directly support conservation work.
The exhibit will feature over 100 original paintings and sculptures for sale by leading AFC nature and wildlife artists. Visitors can enjoy worldwide artistic excellence, learn about conservation issues directly from exhibiting artists,
and support conservation.
The Stanley Park Ecology Society invites you to experience the Stanley Park Lounge! Get to know some of the 250+ bird species that live in Stanley Park. Whether you are an experienced bird expert or a curious beginner, stop by and chat with our knowledgeable staff and volunteers. Sign-up at the Lounge for one of the 20+ bird tours running August 19-26 in Stanley Park. Peruse and purchase our local bird guides, bird stuffies and more.
Families are welcome to try their hands at bird-themed activities. See you at the Lounge!
This year at IOCongress, we are proud to present the first ever e-Poster display in the Congress history, highlighting some of our top poster abstracts. E-Posters will be available for review all week.
The Knowledge Hub will also have a variety of birds-related books for delegates to browse freely.
Located at the heart of the Expo, we are excited to showcase some talented artists, both locally and internationally.

We need your help to select the photo contest winner!!
Earlier this year, the Vancouver International Bird Festival and the Pacific Wildlife Foundation announced a contest for artists to submit their best bird photography. After a rigorous selection process, the top ten photos are now displayed at the Nature and Bird Expo. Visit the Expo Hall to cast your vote for your favorite photo!
Surrounded by major ornithological associations and conservation groups, the Association Corner is a place for ornithologists to step away from the busy Congress schedule and enjoy a casual conversation with peers.
